WE OFFER A VARIETY. SAME PRICE. DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE.

EARLY VELVET? LATE SEASON BRUISER? YOU’RE COVERED.

North Dakota has a longer archery deer season than some states, ranging from late August to Early January–with the ability to hunt on Sundays. This gives us the ability to offer hunts for early season velvet whitetails, rutting bucks, and late season bruisers for clients that may not have the same opportunities in their home states.

Our hunts provide hunters with an opportunity to harvest a North Dakota trophy whitetail on our 2,500 acres of privately-owned and managed property–all season long. To read more about our management program, click below.

 WHAT IS YOUR PREFERENCE?

GROUND. ELEVATED. YOUR CALL.

The herd is growing every year and this lets us have the option of ground blind sits or elevated treestand views. Whether it is a food plot, a hardwood travel route or a mix of both, every spot is a different feel with the possibility of your next trophy buck to show up just in time for you to punch that tag for the trip.

Our blinds are placed strategically to capitalize on shooting angles, timing and of course the most movement during your hunt. We use both fiberglass and mesh blinds, which allows us to have versatility throughout our long whitetail season. Our hang-on and ladder stands are generally used for the first half of the season but can be used any time–all of which feature lifelines for your safety from the minute you leave the ground to the time you step down.

No matter which method you prefer, you will have your own Ozonics scent elimination unit for the duration of your hunt to minimize interference with the deer around you. We want nothing standing between you and your buck of a lifetime because at the end of the day, your success is our success.

During those cold late season hunts, we will supply Heater Body Suits at no cost to our customers to help stop any wind and provide a great source of heat to stay as long as you need to fill your tag.

 An added incentive

OUR DOE PROGRAM

Something different about Heart J Outfitters when compared to the competition is our Doe Management Program. Since your tag is either-sex, we offer the option of filling your tag on a doe during your hunt, which benefits us greatly. This will help us keep the buck to doe ratio in check, but it also benefits the hunter as well. If you wish to harvest a doe with us, we will reimburse you for the full cost of your license and tag once your tag is filled. What is better than getting meat to take home and some money back at the same time?

Sometimes its nice to mix it up

Turkeys and coyotes

There is something to be said about adding in some turkey or predator action when on a deer hunt. We have some large-sized turkeys around our deer areas, and with surplus over-the-counter tags, it only seems right to take advantage of it–season permitting of course. No added cost to your hunt, just cover the cost of the tag.

Predator hunting is always appreciated and if you do harvest a coyote, we will reimburse you for the cost of a predator license, just like we do in our Doe Management Program.

Hunters are responsible for the purchase of their turkey and predator license and tags prior to their hunt. For more information on licensing and game tags, please visit North Dakota Game and Fish below.
